Shiver Book Review!

I've been 'itching' to get a new review posted, so I'm back this time with the phenomenal book Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. Other books in this trilogy: Linger and Forever.

Here's a little story of how I got into reading this book:
Once upon a time... Nah, haha. Okay, for real this time. So I went book shopping as a year end trip for Canadian reading club 'Red Maple'. Instead of going all the way to the ceremony my *new* librarian decided to take us the the local library, a local bookstore, Cole's and Swiss Chalet (!) for lunch. I have to say, this trip was SO much better. I came home with eleven books (six for myself to keep, five from the library). Honestly, three of the five books I borrowed from the library, I didn't even really read. They were too boring :P So, as we're in a local bookstore my friend's like 'Ohmigosh it's Shiver, I've alwayss wanted to read it!', needless to say I've wanted to read it too.

But there was a problem, only one copy in the bookstore. So, I decided to just leave it to my friend to buy. (My leg's going numb from my kitty sitting on it) Okay, so my friend lent it to me about five days ago saying she hated it. I thought it was peculiar since she's such a huge fan of Twilight...I am too. She said if I liked it I could keep it. So guess what? I LOVED it!!!

I have a feeling this is going to be a long post. I'd rate this book a 9.5/10 and I hardly do that. This book is definitely a must read. It's about werewolves, but I can't say much without giving it away. I shall link you to Maggie's site; http://www.maggiestiefvater.com/the-shiver-trilogy/
I promise you will love it...but then again, everyone is intitled to their own opinion. Just because I adored it doesn't mean you will too, heck, you could totally despise it thinking it is a waste of your time. I think you should give it a read, Maggie is so talented (and super pretty too!).

P.S I'm going to read and buy the other two books.
